Neo-nomads : designing environments for living in the age of mental, physical and digital mobilities by Yasmine Abbas
Thoughts:
– Neo-nomads reflect the current way we as people operate in the 21st century.
-Interested in Abbas’ approach to design environments for these people
-Are our environments today adequate for the people that inhabit them?
-Examine and compare public spaces today to public spaces of the past, and more importantly, how the spaces in the past were used by their inhabitants compared to today.
– I really need to get a hold of Néo-nomadisme : Mobilités, partage, transformations identitaires et urbaines (FYP Editions, 2011)
